![]() This portrait of Johnny Cash was a gift for my brother, an avid fan of Cash's music. Charcoal is a favorite medium of mine due to its depth. | ![]() The purple finch is the state bird of New Hampshire, this portrait was a tribute to its beauty. Ink pens allow me to capture the tiniest details, while watercolor brings these birds to life. | ![]() This landscape was a gift for my mother, who particularly loves willow trees. Here, I used chalk pastels, which gave a soft and almost paint-like texture, this medium captures water especially well. |

![]() This is a portrait of a raven, an animal which holds great intelligence and personality. I especially love the physical beauty of these birds, they are extraordinary. Ink was used to show the intense darkness in the shadow of a ravens feathers. | ![]() A portrait of a fairy inspired by the Marigold flower, a flower which is resilient, it protects and endures, and its beauty never fades. This was a colored pencil portrait, which is outlined and detailed with ink. | ![]() This is a digital portrait of singer/songwriter Debbie Harry, of Blondie. I had a lot of fun creating this portrait in digital form, I wanted every color to pop and I aimed to represent the sheer excitement I felt listening to the music of Blondie. |
![]() A portrait of actress/comedian Carol Kane. This woman is too beautiful not to draw, it makes you understand why so many artists had constant muses. I love the colors and the movement of this portrait, I used wax-based pencils for a rich, velvety feel. |
